One of the best vacations our family has had in years. Casa de la playa is an absolute gem!! The location is unparalleled, the views are breathtaking, the pool is stunning, the furnishings and layout are excellent. Everything was absolutely top-notch.
We lived in PV and found it can be quite humid, but Casa de la Playa has amazing cross breezes throughout the entire condo. We were there the end of May and barely needed air conditioning at all. Fantastic ocean breezes!
Dawn was increredibly helpful and responsive; very friendly and professional. We will definitely be returning to Casa de la Playa. It’s an Absolute Gem in PV!

Our stay at Molino de Agua in April couldn’t have gone better. The condo is luxurious, clean and so comfortable. The five of us loved that the location was so close to all our favorite haunts in the Zona Romantica and then to relax at the fantastic pool before setting out to do the town again until the wee hours. Everything was above expectations, the views, the beds, the well appointed kitchen and the patio. If we needed anything, the staff was more than ready to accommodate. Juan Carlos was fantastic as our property manager, he had great dining recommendations (Shout out to Roberto at Martini en Fuego- our new favorite place and chef in P.V. you must try it and it’s only two blocks away) and he made everything so easy, especially the checking in and out. On the last morning, we spent our time dining on pastries secured from the Saturday Farmers Market (one block away), looking out over the ocean and planning our return to this fabulous Casa En La Playa. I can assure you it won’t be soon enough. Thank You, Dawn!

We very much enjoyed Dawn and Stan’s Casa en la Playa—located in the most ideal location in Puerto Vallarta—right on the beach, right on the Malecón, and right in the center of town. The 8th floor unit at Molino de Agua, the most luxurious condo on the Malecón, provides great views of town, the ocean, and Vallarta’s spectacular sunsets. Plus, “Casa” overlooks Molino’s fantastic pool and wonderfully manicured grounds, which looked like a spa to us. The view from the balcony is just spectacular—ocean to the left, our Lady of Guadalupe church to the right, and Old Town right in the middle. It’s all there! Great restaurants and entertainment options are easily within walking distance. Cabs are readily available right out front, but we found we were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Casa itself is spacious and well-appointed, offering the necessities experienced travelers expect in order to feel well at home and ready to enjoy all that Puerto Vallarta offers. One of the “features” of Casa that we really enjoyed was the nice flow-through breeze from the master bedroom to the balcony. At night, when the mountains and surrounding land cool, the ocean creates a wonderful breeze that refreshes after an evening walk and helped us drift off to sleep at night. Not all condos in Vallarta have such great ventilation, so we really appreciated Casa! Of course, there are ceiling fans everywhere and central air, but we found we didn’t need the AC at all!
Everything related to the condo was as advertised or better. The property management team and the staff at Molino are completely professional, giving that “concierge experience” one associates with high-end accommodations. Check-in and check-out were seamless, better than what we’ve experienced at some high-end hotels. The property management team, as well as Dawn and Stan, were accessible and available to answer our questions, and the housekeeper was efficient and friendly.
We found Casa en la Playa to be an ideal rental for us. We are already making plans to return and definitely hope to be able to stay in Casa en la Playa again!
